The large building, which was previously owned by a transport company, was in a state of disrepair and hadn’t been painted for over 30 years until the college started its series of exciting estate developments.
LG Decorating enlisted the help of Zinsser’s free specification service to ensure the correct paint was used on the walls, ceilings and metalwork, which had become coated in years of dirt and needed refurbishment. Zinsser’s Solvent-Based AllCoat Interior paint was recommended to ensure a long lasting finish and easy application.

The oil and dirt covered floor also needed refurbishment. Zinsser recommended a Blackfriar Professional system for the new engineering facility to be applied once the substrate had been suitably prepared and cleaned. The floor was primed with BlackFriar Epoxy Floor Primer, a water-based primer that promotes adhesion on difficult and well-worn surfaces, followed by Blackfirar High Traffic Floor Paint. High Traffic Floor Paint is an exceptionally hardwearing, high performance, easy-to-clean floor coating, ideal for indoors and outdoors use.
